Attorneys and psychotherapists will bring their professional knowledge together to help parents secure and strengthen their “House & Home.”

Attorneys will discuss new COVID-19 laws related to protecting the "house” - rent, eviction, mortgage and foreclosure protections and more.

Psychotherapists will discuss strengthening the "home" by improving couples/parents communication and connection to help parents make for a happy and calm home for their kids during this pandemic.

Specifically, attorneys from Inland Counties Legal Services, Inc. will explain the new COVID-19 laws that help families including:

• rent and eviction protections

• mortgage and foreclosure protections

• unemployment and income protections

• stimulus checks & tax deferrals

• changes to health insurance & more

Psychotherapist and owner of Rancho Counseling, Alicia Taverner, will discuss how to improve couples communication and connection.

When parents are able to communicate calmly and effectively and support each other, they can turn a house into a home for their children by creating an emotionally secure and calm home environment to help their children cope with anxiety of the current pandemic.

Our workshops are fun, interactive and provide an atmosphere of mutual support. You’ll meet with other parents who are experiencing similar ups and downs.
