Is your child having a hard time adjusting to the COVID-19 school closures and the ‘stay at home’ mandate? Are they showing signs of anxiety, ADHD, acting out or just a strong personality or energy level in overdrive?
Or do you want to learn how to support your child through these tough times and prevent misbehaviors such as tantrums, defiance, yelling, whining, back talk, fighting and more?
Mending Hearts Family Counseling Center is offering our FREE Parent Support Workshop - COVID-19 edition to support parents raising children through these tough times.
Psychotherapists will teach principles on how to address tantrums, refusing to listen, back talk, whining, hyperactivity, lack of concentration, screaming, cursing, hitting, kicking, biting, property destruction and difficulty controlling anger or other strong emotions.
Also, an attorney with Inland Counties Legal Services will explain the new laws about COVID-19 public benefits such as:
Sick leave & family leave
Unemployment & disability
Tax relief & stimulus payments
Rent, evictions and foreclosures
Health insurance options for those without coverage or who lost their jobs
Our workshops are fun, interactive and provide an atmosphere of mutual support. You’ll meet with other parents who are experiencing similar ups and downs.
